New Hong Kong studio designs, new sets concept
The designers and builders of the new CNNI sets have posted a case study document online. It explains the concept behind the sets, confirms the technology used (plasma and rear-projection screens) and shows the original plans for all three sets, including the forthcoming Hong Kong set.
You can see that some aspects of the new sets were dropped from the final end product.
