CNN Press Release - Christiane Amanpour today announced the guest line-up for her new interview show 'AMANPOUR.’ which debuts live on CNN International around the world on Tuesday September 21/22. Afghan President Hamid Karzai and U.S. Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan Richard Holbrooke will discuss the issues underlying the powder keg that is Afghanistan -- the war there, the growing power of the Taliban, the fraud charges surrounding the recent election, and the tough road ahead.

Amanpour talks with two key players in a pivotal political drama that affects millions of people and that is grabbing world headlines.

“The impact of the situation in Afghanistan is felt far beyond its own borders,” said Amanpour. “It is emblematic of the type of issues I plan to tackle in this show.
